ABOUT ME
I am an academic and science communication specialist.
I am a developmental editor, copyeditor, and technical writer focused on academic and science projects. I thrive on complex assignments that require meticulous attention to detail.
My educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and East Asian Studies from the University of Toronto, a Master's degree in Sociology and Law from York University, and a Ph.D. in Plant Pathology and Plant-Microbe Biology from Cornell University. These degrees have equipped me with a strong foundation in the social and life sciences, while my experience in public speaking, and writing for newspapers and magazines has honed my communication skills.
Following my academic pursuits, I served as an Assistant Research Professor and Viticulture Program Leader at the University of Missouri. Eventually, I joined GALLO as a Research Scientist in the Winegrowing Research division.
